Uninstall VMWare

I installed VMware on slackware using the directions here http://www.cs.ucr.edu/~jbyrne/vmware.htm, as slackware did not have /etc/rcX.d files, where X = 0..6. This was the evaluation copy and I would like to uninstall it now. Does anyone know what to delete?

I suppose I could delete every folder that says vmware, but vmware also boots something up on start up, and I don't understand the sequence well enough to undo these changes.

I can't really answer your question on uninstalling VMWare, but if you want to disable the start-up script that VMware runs when you start the computer, it is located in /etc/rc.d. As root, simply do a

#chmod 644 /etc/rc.d/vmware

This will remove the executable bit from the script. Removing it is probably a trickier process.

I just ran the installer perl script again, and it seems to have removed it. Thanks for the help anyways.
