unable to use gslapt

Hi,
I am running slackware 10.1 on my system.
When I run gslapt I get the following message -
Quote:

Failed to open package_data
package_data: No such file or directory
Perhaps you want to run --update?
Segmentation fault
Any idea what is going on?
Package_data is located at /var/slapt-get.
I even tried slapt-get --update, but still I get the same message.

GSlapt must be run as root. Sometimes the errors coming back about directories or files missing are due to permissions. Just something to think about as well.

This was posted on the mailing lists a while ago. The fix is just to use Slackware 10.2's gslapt package, and slackware 10.1's slapt-get package.

Just download gslapt for 10.2 and run an upgradepkg on it, and then leave your slapt-get package at the 10.1 version.
