Exclamation Unable to mount drives on slackware


I ve installed slackware and whenever i try to open a drive the following error pops up..
"Security policy in place prevents this sender from sending this message to this recipient ,see message bus configuration file(rejected message has interface "org.freedesktop.Hal.Device.Volume" member "Mount" error
name."(unset)"destination"org.freedesktop.Hal)

Add your user account to the plugdev group.

Code:
gpasswd -a username plugdev
Then log out and log back in.
