Hi, all! I am new to Slackware and having this kind of a problem too. I am running 14.1 and 3.10.17 kernel version. This is what I am getting ls: cannot access /sys/module/*_hcd/drivers/*: No such file or directory. It would be great if you could help me!

Hi,

thanks for the quick reply.

find /sys -name "*pci:?hci_hcd*" on 3.10.17-smp (huge):
Code:

/sys/module/ohci_hcd/drivers/pci:ohci_hcd
On 3.12.8-generic-smp, I get no ouput.

edit:

ls /sys/module/ehci_pci/drivers/* gives this on 3.12.8:
Code:

/sys/module/ehci_pci/drivers/pci:ehci-pci@

Sorry for my misunderstanding but did you manage to find solution.
please help

Hi NikolaStanchev,

unfortunately, my main machine died a week ago, so I can't test further. On my current machine I don't get this behaviour. But: my now-dead machine booted using an initrd, I was able to generate it and use USB devices etc.
