Cool UK London Slackware meet

Hello folks!

I know that a good amount of our community is based in the USA.
But I live in the UK, I am aware that there are some people in the UK.

I am visiting London on the 8-10 of June.
I'd love if some of us gather for a beer a chat etc!

Regardless of my visit if there are people in here from Uk, leave a reply, we would like to organize a Slackware meet somewhere in the UK depending on where people are from.

You can also Join the IRC #slackware.uk

Yep I'll also be in London on that day and would be up for that on Fri 8th, after 5pm
Do you have anywhere in mind? Depending on how big the group is, somewhere'd need to be booked. Fridays in London after work are usually pretty busy!

I'd be interested in this. Not somewhere too loud, would be good to actually hear one another.

I can't make it on those dates but would definitely be interested in hearing of any future arrangements. I'm in Guildford so it's half-hour to London.

Sounds great, I'm currently on the other side of the pond so I will have to raise a toast from here...Great seeing meetings like this.

I'm way up north near Campbeltown, 4hrs from Glasgow, but am interested in uk stuff too, albeit London is too far at a day's driving! - oh well, comes of living out in the middle of nowhere (as far as the uk is concerned :-) ) At least there are Slackware users/supporters all over the place.

That's a Friday, a lot of people may be in work. I wouldn't be able to make it till at least 6pm earliest. More like 7pm.
