udev + sw raid issues

I tried configuring a SW raid on a system with slack 10.0 (kernel 2.6.7 form testing)

After a lot of problems (need to manually create md* devices in /dev, always lost on reboot) I searched trough google and I discovered that udev makes a lot of troubles with md, and the kernel team is working around this problem

So I disabled udev, and now all works greatly

Do you know if there's a workaround to use udev with md ??

Thanks a lot
