UDEV - Camera custom rule syntax

I have a rule in 10-local.rules to create a symlink for my digital camera as follows:

Quote:
SUBSYSTEMS=="scsi", ATTRS{vendor}=="FUJIFILM", KERNEL=="sd?1", NAME="%k", SYMLINK="fujicam"
The rule seems to work fine for me, but I have a question:

I note from reading around that others use the operator "+=" for symlinks.

Would this be better than the "=" that I have used?.

Many thanks,

Bill.

== is used when you want to set a value to be only what you're defining.

+= is used when you want to add more things to a value, in addition to what may already be defined.

See the third paragraph in http://reactivated.net/writing_udev_rules.html#basic
