tutorial - modules - slackware 9.1


please say someone has a tutorial that gives a noob approach to creating modules. i have been on linux for 2 weeks. i have been using slackware just as long. i want a very detailed but not confusing tutorial. does anyone have this on a server just waiting for someone to read?

You should also take a look the Documentation in your kernel source directory, interesting reading there.........
5+ megs of text files and good info.

If you google for linux module programming this one will pop up like crazy

The information on it is somewhat outdated, like using proc_fs, but you can get updated information if you search around. Also, kernelnewbies.org has quite a few valuable resources but their server is offline at the moment.
