turn off computer
 
Hi guys does anyone know what file i need to edit to self power off my computer with turning the power button off using slackware 10

Also, what file do i need to edit so i can scroll my mouse up and down. i attempted to edit xf86config, there is no such file.

look for Xorgconf........this is usually in /etc/X11

Try uncommenting

/sbin/modprobe apm

in /etc/rc.d/rc.modules

If all else fails, I'd recommend a kernel recompile with acpi support built-in the kernel:)
