Trying to install Slackware on a Toshiba NB515
 

Hi!

I am trying to have X working on an Atom N2600 Toshiba NB515 netbook.
I downloaded the latest (3.5.2) Linux kernel and compiled it, enabling the Intel GMA 3600 driver.
When I start X, I get a blank frozen screen...
What can I do?

Is this Slackware 13.37? If so you maybe need the newest libdrm and Mesa to get that working. May be you better try Slackware 14 RC3.

I downloaded Slackware current (3.2.28).
It is worse. I can't start X, even in low resolution (800x400), which was possible with Slwr 13.37.
Pls hlp
