yes, with all the compile options I outlined above. There may be problems with the other modules as well that you are unaware of.

It works!
The pen and the eraser work, both with pressure sensibility. I haven't set up the mouse correctly yet, but I'm really glad that pressure sensibility finally works.
Wacdump also works fine, and my event seems to be event0.
The only thing that doesn't work is wacomcpl. It opens, but says it didn't find the device ...

However. Thanks for all your help!

Ya, someday I'll need to fart arround with that. Mine gets a little further. Never felt I needed it enough to spend the time on. What I really need to do is get my Graphire3 working with 2.6. From the reading I've done it looks like I need to make some changes to the kernel. I'm running 2.6.15 though and it's not officially supported by the linux-wacom project yet.

Anyway, welcome to Linux and welcome to Slackware!
