try setting config_kallsyms_extra_pass

Hi

I am fairly new to Linux so bare with me,

Slackware 12, i have patched the 2.6.21.5 kernel with KDB Debugger.

I have done make menuconfig and selected Kernel hacking > Built in Kernel Debugger and KDB Modules

I have then run make clean which runs without error

Then make bzImage

however this never completes and i get the error:
Quote:
Inconsistant kallsyms data
try setting config_kallsyms_extra_pass
make: *** [vmlinux] error 1
any ideas why this would be and how to solve ???

Many thanks for your time (and basic answers)
