TrueType fonts not printing in Mozilla

Hi all,

I can't seem to find anyone who has experienced this problem as well.

I can get TrueType fonts to work in Mozilla by editing the unix.js file, but as soon as I go to print preview, all the text is missing. Obviously, when I print the webpage, the text is missing from the page also.

OpenOffice works with the TrueType fonts just fine.

I am using Slackware 9.1 with the Mozilla 1.6 installer from

Any ideas? What am I missing? Because this happens with Print Preview, even with no printers installed, it can't be a printer related issue.

Thanks so much!!

Well I figured it out.

Don't do the old way like I was doing (unix.js). Do the new way globally for X-Windows and it works like a charm.
