Trouble on Kernel Upgraded
I upgraded my slack 10 from 2.4.26 to 2.6.7, and now I start fine on 2.6.7, but when I try to start with the old kernel, I get "Unable to mount root fs on hda4" . I follwed this tutorial
hmm thats weird it appears you did everything right it you followed those instructions. I really dont know why that would be happening but im sure someone will help you out.
I have one question for you althought why would you wanna get back into your old kernel?

Thanks for your reply. About why I would get back into my old kernel it's cause I'm planning to install dropline, and I don't know if it will work fine. That's the main reason that I want to keep my old kernel.
Or do you suggest me to keep my Gnome 2.6 instead of install dropline?
