transcode, libmpeg3, dvd::rip

Hi,

I tried to install dvd::rip with all features. I have a problem installing libmpeg3. If I try to compile the sourcecode, I get an errormessage that the files libmpeg3.a and libquicktime.a do not exist. So I install the RPM-file with rpm2cpio. But when I configure transcode for compiling I get the message:
'libmpeg3 dependent modules no'.

Any ideas?

Check where your libmpeg3.a has been installed. In my distribution (SuSE 8.1) it's /usr/lib for the library itself and /usr/include/libmpeg3/ for the includes, and I think this is where the transcode configure script looks by default.

You may want to try the --with-libmpeg3-includes and --with-libmpeg3-libs parameters when configuring transcode, in case your libmpeg3 installation is not in a standard location.
