tracking current

I read the latest Changelog for current and saw that on January 15 2005, they upgraded xine-lib to release 1.0. However, I checked today on the ftp server for current that they are still serving release 1.0-rc8. Why is that?

Which ftp did you use? Some of the mirrors may not be up-to-date, it usually takes them a few hours or days to get the latest packages.
