Seeding's slowed down, ranging from 8 to 25 KiB/s. 358 MiB out of 4.1 GiB uploaded so far.
Getting worse. 600 B/s to 2.2 KiBs. |
Seeding with a upspeed of 2 MB/s and will keep it running for a while (I will have to do some backups myself before I make "the move")

I just came back from work and am going to burn the iso downloaded overnight. |

Looks like I might be the only one seeding right now. |

I've been continually seeding it for the last 18 hours and (as promised) am not going to stop for a month. I don't usually switch off that computer anyway. My upload is not great. I seed an average of 30KiB/s and so far have seeded 1230MB. |
It must have been something strange, now it's:
\ S:0/201 L:6/169 C:50 R=402.15 D=0 U=10 K/s seeding 66:59 that's from ctorrent. |
I'm downloading via torrent just now and it's agonizingly slow - download 8 KiB/s on average, so only 7 days to go!
EDIT: the reason for the slow download might be that most (80%) of my peers are currently choked. I'll seed for the next few weeks hopefully. |
I've stopped my seeding. It had gone down to 0 to 112 B/s.

I've found that for a faster bittorrent experience I have to have TCP 6881-6999 port forwarded to the machine running bittorrent. There are also many settings that can be tweaked based on the help screen:
Code:
bittorrent-curses -h Code:
#!/bin/sh |
Took my laptop home (different ISP) and wham! 4.0 GiB downloaded in an hour.
Now seeding with uploading varying from 10-100 KiB/s. |
I'm having trouble getting the torrent to download using Ktorrent. It fails on "Announcing" with "Invalid response from tracker".
I'll keep trying over the next few days. I can't wait to get it all up and running :D Edit: This is attempting to get the 13.1 32bit Full install dvd from the slackware website. Edit 2: Installed Transmission and its working just fine.. Disregard this post :) |
I've noticed my 32 bit torrents died yesterday and stayed at 0 for over 24hours while my 64 bit torrent has been steadily uploading at 200+k for 2 days straight. I was going to delete my 32 bit iso's if this seemed normal to anyone else since I have limited space on that machine. Have others noticed the same thing?
