I need to know how to get that conky and the logo of slackware on the menu bottom of Xfce
I will appreciated it.
For the logo, I have a few Slackware icons stored in ~/.icons. You'll need to right click on the menu button and then hit Properties to change it. In the dialog box that pops up after you've clicked on the icon to edit, select Image Files from the drop-down menu and navigate to your icon. I'll attach a couple with this post, but they're easy to find if you want different sizes.
For Conky, navigate to Settings and select Session and Startup > Application Autostart. Then just add Conky and anything else you want autostarted.
Important! If you want transparency to look right, you'll need to add this line in ~/.conkyrc:
If you switch between Openbox and XFCE, you'll need to comment that line out before logging into Openbox or else the letters in Conky will jumble together and start looking messed up.
I hope this was helpful and your XFCE desktop is even more enjoyable!
