Thanks. I wish AlienBob would add some candies for eyes to its Liveslak. Wallpaper I found on xfce web page with themes, icons, wallpapers - this particular wallpaper is made for Gnome - there is version with Gnome logo on it. But In general I dislike logos.

That would be nice to have. I think the reason it hasn't happened yet is because of space limitations. The rk3399 has room but then you would need to drop the PCIe slot or somthing else. It is cost vs feature vs convenience.

I spend my days in a terminal. Web browser runs my mail and office suite. My workflow would not change without my i7. Rock Pros and Pinebook Pros are perfect if you want battery life and low power consumption. I don't play PC games or edit media all the time. I compile from source using distcc and send the job off to my arm cluster.

Anyway, sorry guys for the off topic post. I felt I should explain a bit.

Arrow

It is getting increasingly rare i get new images for backdrop - i guess I'm getting ever more picky?

Te image was acquired from an artist friend making an inquiry about picking art for his possibly next product (namely a desk mat).

His nick is pat (kudos )

I named the picture "the salute to a pirate flag" in my head, thinking on an era gone by...

So, I originally wanted to post to /r/unixporn but automod removed it because I didn't have enough karma so you good folks can have it instead:

Well it's welcome here, at least by me, since any desktop with Hope Sandoval on it grabs my attention.

Nice, and welcome. Unixporn is just a messy EWW nowadays, same thing all over again. I left it long time ago.
