For those using a window manager rather than a DE, jgmenu is a really nice addition. It can even display Openbox pipe menus, which is a nice feature for Openbox users. (I have one of those - a dynamic weather display menu.)
I got frustrated with the lack of authentic-looking flat Slackware Icons so I made my own.
Fortunately it's rather easy to make a flat Slackware icon. The font used is Courier 10 Pitch, I wasn't sure if that was correct but it's close enough. I would be interested to see if anyone else can do a better one.
EDIT: removed the icons since they were using the wrong case 'S', corrected one a few posts below.

Nice! I once tried to make something kind of similar but it never looked as good as yours. I may use this.
There are actually a few logo icons in my slack-images pack on GitHub. These used to be included in the slack-wallpapers SlackBuild on SBo, but I decided to separate them since the number of wallpapers grew quite a bit.

I recognise quite a few of these from Deviant Art. Did you make any of them? The glossy icon is good - almost too good - and seriously looks like light is hitting it from the top of the monitor.
Slackware doesn't have nearly as many funky modern graphics unlike the 'top 3 trendy distros' among younger nerds, which are Debian, Arch and Gentoo. Slackware attracts a different kind of user, but that's probably a good thing.
EDIT: Looking at it now, I'm convinced that the font on the official Slackware site is Courier 10 Pitch. Furthermore, the 's' in the logo is a lower case s. I have therefore amended the icon to this effect.

@Lysander666 -
I like it (the Slackware icon)! For now, I've stolen it to replace the icon for my whisker menu (OT - I really recommend whisker menu for xfce users)

Glad you like it. I used to use the Whisker menu, but there's a bug with 14.2's version of Xfce whereby the panel goes black if you move the tabs around. I've since had to revert to the standard menu.
No I didn't make any of them. Most of the images were in the slack-wallpapers SlackBuild when I took it over, but I think that I did add a few. I did however add ~300 wallpapers to the slack-wallpapers packs. A lot of those did come from Deviantart.
^ First time I've seen this original idea. Great and thanks PS: do not feel sorry for your english, a lot of people here are not necessarily native english speakers (I am not, neither ^^)
