I'm not sure I'm ready to leave my dwm setup behind, but I have to say I really like the look of the new default fvwm config. And it goes really well with the atlantis screensaver module from Xscreensaver. All desktops should have sharks swimming around on them!

So do I. Fvwm is the WM proposed by default by xwmconfig in Slint
Only one thing worries me: it does not ship an internal session manager. If I understand well the result of the SaveSession command is supposed to be used by an external session manager. It would be handy to keep 40 or more windows (easy to manage with the 4 desks x 4 pages!) in the same state when you quit...
I'll try to experiment using lxsession, as we already use other LXDE components (namely, lxdm and lxpanel).

So do I, very nice. I remember seeing in the fvwm2 mailing list a short thread the default would be changed, did not think it would happen that quickly.

Not internal, but maybe check this out linuxgazette. I use to use xsm(1) on an old UN*X type system with twm. When I saw that article I bookmarked it since by the time saw it I had forgotten all about xsm.
