I'm pretty sure imgur.com works to view images without javascript.
I don't have noscript installed, but I just checked with ublock by disabling inline-scripts, 3rd-party, and 1st-party scripts. Trying to browse the site doesn't work very well, but a linked image (jpg) page or album seems to work fine (gifs seem broken, likely because they try to show an HTML5 version). And it is easy to directly link to the actual image instead of a page displaying the image.
Edited my most recent image post on this thread. Added a link to the same image now on a new image hosting service, imgurl, which was recommended on this thread. Hoping it works now
I've used some brightly-colored color schemes in the past. Gray was working for that background picture, though it does have some red and flesh tones in it.
