I'm not sure I'm ready to leave my dwm setup behind, but I have to say I really like the look of the new default fvwm config. And it goes really well with the atlantis screensaver module from Xscreensaver. All desktops should have sharks swimming around on them! ;)

Only one thing worries me: it does not ship an internal session manager. If I understand well the result of the SaveSession command is supposed to be used by an external session manager. It would be handy to keep 40 or more windows (easy to manage with the 4 desks x 4 pages!) in the same state when you quit... I'll try to experiment using lxsession, as we already use other LXDE components (namely, lxdm and lxpanel). |

ricing i3wm on slackware
I discovered i3wm some months ago, installing it on slackware has been one of the best decisions I've ever done. This is my first rice:
