Nice Desktop!

Translation wise, shouldn't that be VI aMélioré instead? to keep the original (and universally known shorthand relevant/obvious/prevalent? (unless y'all call it VIA other there :p))

My desktop picture... (screenshot would just be the unmodified MATE from willysr)

Very nice, nelsonm :) Off-topic and all, but anyway: is there an image-sharing site that shows images without javascript? One should not need javascript to see an image! The <img> tag is still supported, as far as I know. tinypic.com sure is popular around here, but for my money it could as well be blank.

Qweasd: I wish I knew. I use tinypic but am getting tired of it. I can't even link a *thumbnail* directly any more. :(

(Yes, those two icons between the activities and the task manager are really tiny. Not sure what I can do about that).

I've seen that before in the KDE panel. Can you right click and remove launchers? Then just add them again and they come out full size.
