linus72,

dude could you put some spaces between "Slack14.2/AntiX/Arco/Sparky/Hexagon" so the username column stays even?

For those interrested by this, you'll find the source code and the slackbuild here.

Figured I might as well join the club. Here's my desktop: Plasma 5, running the breeze dark theme, papirus-dark icons, and the latte-dock which I ended up building myself. I migrated from a mac a few years ago and I liked the aesthetic so I went for something with a similar look.

Now if only that pesky davmail icon would work with the dark theme...

I actually really like that wall with the logo. Care to share it?

As for the Davmail icon, I remove things like that if they don't fit the theme. I don't have a battery icon on my laptop because it doesn't fit the theming and it drives me mad. I just use ACPI and have a 10% critical warning.

Alright you convinced me to hide the davmail icon I only need it every few months when work requires a password change on my exchange account so it really doesn't need to be there 24/7.

The background image is one I took from here, muted the colour and added the slackware logo. I figured I might as well link the original to give credit and perhaps you'll like the more vibrant version.

My version of it will be attached. Cheers!

Great stuff - and on the contrary - I like mine desaturated and bleak. I removed all the colour.

My Dell Optiplex 990 arrived on Thursday; I ordered it on ebay. It has an i7 CPU @ 3.4 GHZ, a 223 GB SSD, and 16 GB RAM. It had Windows 10 on it for about 5 minutes.
It is running Slackware64-current and XFCE like a champ. Many thanks to Pat and the entire Slackware Team.
