Well, I've finally found something for Xfce that is very close to the setup I use in kde-4. The more I use it, the more I like it better than my kde-4 configuration.

It is called, "Leather-dark",

https://www.xfce-look.org/p/1223551/

used with the Whisker Menu in Slackware64-current.

For whatever reasons it appears fuzzy in the image below, but it is actually bright and sharp on the desktop.

Fusion, from qt5-5.9.4 ..

I like how it looks a bit like old QtCurve.

Anyway, I'll share the stuff from ~/.config/qt5ct/colors/x11-7.conf
Code:

Wow that is gorgeous and not just the wallpaper. Kudos and thank you as I recently stopped using Xfce because of some display issues and this may very well fix that. KDE4 is pretty sweet and I very much like some of the implementations of KDE 5 I've tried out but I have also tried Enlightenment and TDE Trinity as well as LXDE recently and as lean as KDE has become it still loads more than I would like even when pared down a bit and both TDE and LXDE are now deprecated. I've always been impressed with Enlightenment and got pretty excited when I read it has the ability to switch to a Tiling desktop somewhat like i3 but maybe I need to spend more time in it to enjoy more than just the concept.

Xfce however I already like if I could just get past a few oddball glitches and this may do the trick.. I will find out today. Thanks.

UPDATE: I like the look of the Dark Leather theme but there are still a few conflicts with KDE full support that make it easier and more functional to just continue with KDE. FWIW KDE uses less CPU and only 2% more ram than Xfce on my box so no biggy.

@Enorbet: give a try to Mate. It's actively developed, ships with the marco WM by default but you can use compiz or metacity as well, probably others like xfwm4 or kwin.
