ChuangTzu - May I respectfully request you explain how you employ Imgur BBCode? I've tried using the Link and also Upload URL in LQ's attachment/image feature and can't get it to work. I'm probably missing something really basic but right now I'm feeling stupid, at a loss.

I don't think you can display any inline images in LQ unless it is an attachment. They've disabled [IMG] tags.
So, if you really want an image displayed linked to imgur, you would need to upload a thumbnail to the forum, use its attachment ID within [attach][/attach] tags and then encompass that with a url tag.
The following code gives me the image (and link) below (although, I believe you can only link to attachments in the same post, so you couldn't copy that and use it on another post -- you'd still need to upload your own attachment).
