It's kmix

Just add "kmix &" to your fluxbox startup file

Hi

My Slackware Desktop,

twm, tweaked for different colors and menu entries

With Kde ( other box that I have ) i have different screenshots, although I would like to know how to customize wmii, ratpoison, IceWM, flux and ion3 to match some real nice screenshots I have found in the web...

BRGDS

I agree, that does look nice. I'm going to look that thing up.
EDIT -- Erm.. Scratch that idea, it seems to _require_ compositing

For the record, I got cairo-dock (git version) and its dependencies recently and built it all (on my slackware), and found it horribly buggy. When it worked semi-right, it *looked* great, but it acted really weird. It would only partially work when on the far left or top of my left monitor; if I put it anywhere else, it was totally borked, and it wouldn't go onto the right-hand monitor at all. It also responded to mouse events when I was nowhere near it.

Daedra, did you have any bizarre troubles building and/or using this Avant thing? Or was it pretty easy to set up, and works well?

DISCLAIMER: I'm not bashing cairo-dock -- it does look nice, and the problems I had may well have been related to my Xinerama/nvidia situation (ongoing, documented elsewhere on LQ). And, I'm sure lots of folks use cairo-dock without issues.

AWN actually works quite well, I didn't have any problems installing from slackbuilds.org and adding themes and such was easy, the only gotcha is whenever you add or change applications on the laucher the dock will crash and you will have to restart it, only a minor pain though. In KDE you can even drag applications from the KDE start menu directly to the dock, makes customizing easier.

But as you said earlier, yes it does require compositing, I'm using compiz here.
