It's a bit more outdated than I remembered though. And the responsiveness of the archive server made me cry silently.

As the site is down and Shilo hasn't been around for a while, I've unstuck this thread. It should also be noted that much of the info, while still pretty relevant, is a few years old - for example, the advice on adding an image to the LILO screen has now been superseded by the fact that you can add one at install time now.

If Shilo should return and have an updated site, we can rethink a sticky thread.
