ThinkPad T420 fingerprint reader login with slim

Hi all,
I have been able to find nothing on google, so I thought it would be worth a shot asking here.

I am using Slackware64 14 with slim for login. I have a T420 and thought it would be nice to use the fingerprint login, if possible. Has anybody done this, and if so how?

For fingerprint logins, I believe PAM is required.

I believe Slim might have to support it as well.
