There is a 2minutes LAG on printing between pages

i have problem that i can't seem to get a solution via mr google, maybe guys you encountered this already.
im using a slackware 11. i was able to make my printer(HPLASERJ) work, however, when i submit a print job it will not automatically print. There is a lag of about 2Minutes in between pages. Probably a change in the cups config will solve my problem but i dont know what to change in the configuration.

I did not touch yet the cupsd.conf

below is my printers.conf.

Using Slackware 11 and HP LaserJet 1022 I experience a significant delay between pages but not two minutes.
