Question There are different versions of nvidia-driver/kernel and libxnvctrl in SBo Packages

nvidia-driver and nvidia-kernel: 390-59

libxnvctrl: 390.42

libxnvctrl could be useful for conky to monitor my nVidia card sensors, but I'm wondering if conky will be stable; it would be compiled with a libxnvctrl which is not up-to-date with the nvidia-driver and nvidia-kernel which I'm using.

Do you do like this in your systems?. Maybe you edit the libxnvctrl slackbuild for the newer nvidia-driver and nvidia-kernel versions and then you recompile conky?.

What do you do?

Thanks in advance for your answers.

It won't hurt anything, just use the libxnvctrl that is on there now. I will submit an update to SBo this afternoon.

Thumbs up Thank you!

Very fast and very attentive.

I've upgraded the nvidia kernel and drivers today, then libxnvctrl followed.

Everything went flawlessly.
