The Slack World?

Hi,

Anyone knows what happened to the online magazine The Slack World? It seems to have vanished.

Cheers,

Niki

That's mainly related to my teaching job. The last three requests for Linux teaching were all specific for Ubuntu LTS. "Nah, I'll teach you Slackware" didn't work, unfortunately. So in order to teach it, I have to eat my own dog food. Which is actually surprisingly good. I got a few servers running Ubuntu 14.04 LTS, and quite a few Elementary OS desktop clients, a very nice Ubuntu spinoff with the beautiful Pantheon desktop. This is hands down my favourite desktop environment so far. There are already ports for Arch and Gentoo, and Debian is working on it. It would be great if there was a way to port this thing to Slackware.
