When Microslop comes out with an OS period, someone wake me up. Their spewage is little more than overpriced malware with a EULA

Yes, it is certainly pathetic in the extreme. But so is the whining of the Microsloth apologists and defenders (is that even possible?) on this board. Their lemming-like establishmentarianism is right out of a psychology textbook on "follow-the-loser."

Yeah, man, where you been? The world went insane years ago. No news is no news. The yellow rags have to have something to write about. They play both ends, it's arbitrage 101. Make money whether the news is good or bad, but make news.

That slanderous accusation is completely outrageous. The hard truth is that they're incompetent and smothering under the enourmous bloat of their corporate infrastructure. No company that big EVER put out anything good except IBM. Microslack makes money because they're outstanding marketers, not software developers.

That's kind of like paying the arsonist to put out his own fire. And yet it happens.

Those people have the same rights as everyone else

Don't let it get to you- we already know what the antidote is. The main thing now is to get PC manufacturers to stop trying to jam Microplop's spyware down the throats of new PC buyers. People need to start demanding clean machines with no OS as an option. I refuse to pay for a "copy" of that garbage. And in most cases, you don't even get a CD for the 100 bucks you lose.
