I've just checked the changelogs and apparently we're NOT there yet

Complete, wild speculation on my part, but, I suspect that PV is now kicking the tires and putting the final polish on Slackware 13.0 prior to it being rolled out to the showroom.
Slackware 13.0 will be a performance machine.

I have no idea. As always PV will release Slackware when it is ready.

Pat, every day I wake up at 10, 11 a.m., I can't sleep anymore! 2 weeks ago I was really relaxed but now I wake up at 10 to see if slackware 13 stable gets out! It's an obsession! Put a TODO or something else that can ease my sufferance ;(

10am?! I usually check them at 6:30am and one LQ member from Oldham even mentioned some insomnia problems in his blog.
