The best way to update slackware

From many tutorials, most of them suggest some software such as swaret, slackpkg, slack-get, etc to update slackware. I'm confuse which one should I choose, as non of them offcial from slackware ( isn't it? ) .
Can you share your experience using these software?

Thanks

Best way? Manually download the packages as their updated and upgrade them using "upgradepkg". Of course that's just my opinion and you know what they say about opinions.

PS..That's also the "official" way.

Read the many many threads here in addition to the tutorials.

The only one even in extra is slackpkg, so it'd get a semi-official nod, but I've never used any of them. Read the ChangeLog, download the packages, upgradepkg. What do I need a third-party tool for that for?

But all of them have their friends and all of them have some user who'll tell you it borked their system. Except the manual method, where you know *you* borked your system if anything goes wrong. But, sure, try 'em and decide.

In the past release, slackware 9.1. The extra folder contain swaret. I think, they keep changing it. But You are right, at least it's semi official :P.
I will try all of them since it is like a hobby for me. But I'm looking for other's experiences. Hehe

THanks
