No slackware does not add a .bashrc file by default in install, you have to add it yourself.

Frankly I doubt that source a .bashrc file will fix it, I never used at to open a text editor but if you want absolutly achieve this, you may create a bash script that open pico like :

#!/bin/bash
export TERM=linux
tty=`tty`
pico 1> $tty

then save it as startpico.sh for example and try :
at 20:00
at > /path/to/startpico.sh
at > <EOT>

a little tip in case someone didn't know, you can also do it like this instead of calculating time

at now + 2 hours

or

at now + 90 minutes

how long the movie is ...

just mentioned it for some presision/paranoia type of people

if movie is 174 minutes
and current time is 16:43
and you want your screensaver the minute the movie ends, then it's easier to use "now +" then making some math at 4am
well for me atleast it would be

Has anyone tried to automatically schedule a bittorrent download? I can't seem to schedule btdownloadedxterm.sh to run properly.

Ninaw, you can start only program that doesn't require a terminal to run but you can work around in X environment with the xterms. Try :

at 10:00
at> xterm -e btdownloadedxterm.sh
at><EOT>

[edit]
Hey Marlor, that's ok I will try at now + 2 hours the next time
