That'll be probably me? There's no other member of the coreteam who is posting answers to your topics.
The work I produce is for everyone, so it will never become personal and everyone is free to use my stuff as they like (or avoid it). It's all fine with me.
Have fun!

rob.rice, behavior such as the last line in your OP isn't acceptable at LQ. Please refrain from it moving forward.

Sorry, this is not clear for me. I did search and found 1001 threads which possible contain 'ass'. So, what's the problem?

After a quick check of the rules, I would hazard a guess at:
Quote:
  • Personal attacks on others will not be tolerated.
  • Challenge others' points of view and opinions, but do so respectfully and thoughtfully ... without insult and personal attack. Differing opinions is one of the things that make this site great.
Basically, it would have been enough in the OP to just thank everyone (without the backhanded compliment ).

Well, all the technical discussion regarding the use of the slang word for rectal orifice aside, let's get back to the point, which is...

YES! THANK YOU SLACKWARE PEOPLE! Thank you, Pat Volkerding! Thank you, Eric Hameleers! Thank you, Robbie Workman! Thank you to Jeremy for creating this outstanding site and hosting the "official" Slackware forums. Thanks to many, many un-named folks who do this, that, and the other to support Slackware and keep it up to the high quality that we all know and love. Lastly, I'm just thankful in general that this operating system exists and that I found it. I have NO plans to ever use any other operating system on my machines at least until Quantum computers get into the every-man price range. And even then, I'm pretty sure Pat V. will have a version of Slackware for those, too.

Depends on which side of the politically correct spectrum you find yourself. If you agree with the "thought police" you are OK, if not, you pay the price.

Many thanks to Pat and the entire Slackware Team; I've been a Slacker since 2004. Slackware is my primary operating system. I have a subscription to Slackware and I will also buy items at the store from time to time. You can click on the link in my signature to help support Slackware.

Without shouting or extraneous exclamation points, I'd like to quietly say thanks to Willy Sudiarto Raharjo for all his work over the years.

Long live Slackware and crew, and LinuxQuestions support crew too. Thanks a lot.

P.S. Love all my Slackware T-shirts, especially the Serious, and the Polo with pocket. Good quality products. Thx
