Some work has already been done, It's not completed yet, I don't think you will get a fix on this until R14.1.0 shows up.

Bug 2 - Lock Screen - Unlockable

That problem has been known to the main devs (Michele and Slavek) since the testing for that same branch (tdelibs/feat/fix-suspend-code)
This problem must be specific to Slackware since It does not occur on Debian (which is the platform the devs have been using); to my knowledge, no one ever bothered to fill a bug report (in bugzilla or gitea) about It , feel free to do so!

at the bottom of the page, on the left of "JavaScript licenses". you click on that "world" symbol then you can change the user interface to different languages.

Talking

good day!

small hack - how to "eliminate inconvenience" associated with these bugs

little observation tde, slackware 14.1/14.2 and bugs

1.
There are two main bugs on sl14.2
- SLEEP_BTN_MODE
- LOGOUT_SCREEN_LOCK

on sl14.1 - no bugs

2.
slackware differences 14.1/sl14.2:
ConsoleKit-0.4.5 -> ConsoleKit2-1.0.0
udev-182 -> eudev-3.1.5

3.
if you install a set of 14.1 to 14.2
- SLEEP_BTN_MODE - the bug is fixed
- LOGOUT_SCREEN_LOCK - no bug fixed

4.
necessary that the system is not blocked
but, m.b. "hide" $TDE/bin/kdesktop_lock

as a result: quite working system

thank

TDM trouble on Slackware 15.0

good day!

Code:
- Slackware 15.0
- TDE/Trinity (ver. 14.0.12, 14.0.13, 14.1.0)
- original system working
- sddm - starts kde & tde normally
- tdm - the system does not start, hangs on a black screen, ctrl + back-space resets normally back to the login screen
- there is nothing suspicious in the logs
- startx - starts tde normally
- rebuilt 3 versions of TDE, in the hope that this trinity is buggy,
the cant is repeated in all 3 systems
- more detailed exhausts (log catalog archive, test video)
URL

Thank you

If it is to any help, I can say that tdm works fine here in version 14.0.12 on Slackware64 15.0. In fact, tdm was my only reason to install tdebase and tdelibs. Instead of using runlevel 4 I call /opt/tde/bin/tdm from a script called from rc.local in runlevel 3 if that would matter.

It was more than a year ago, but if I remember right, I used these scripts:

As I really only wanted tdm and tdm is part of tde-base I only have two packages built for Slacwkare64 15.0: tde-base and tde-libs. I did not build any packages for all the other TDE applications. The two txz compressed packages are probably 20-30 MB each in size. Are you still interested in my packages? I don't have them where I am now, but might be able to get them in some week.

regards Henrik
