If you could find someone to translate the Russian text also at SF, it would be great. This way, you project will gain more attention. Thanks for your work!

I can help to translate from Russian into English. Clearly translation into 'house' is not correct it should be replaced by 'home' - home directory. My advise is to create /opt directory with all necessary sub-directories structure, and install TDE under /opt.
Since when is russian the language of this forum? Translate into english before posting please, or else don't bother posting the content and stick to just a URL pointing to that README.
Sorry, but it was very rude of you! The OP is doing well trying to bring to Slackware working TDE installation. He is here to find help. Let me remind you that this is the place all issues concerning Slackware are discussed. This information you can find on www.slackware.com. The OP is physicist, not IT engineer, so you can think of OP as hobbyist spending its free time to enhance our experience as Slackware users. So, stay calm or can express this in more eloquent way. Not everyone is fascinated by this total crap called KDE4 or 5 or whatever. Actually Russians treat their language in the same way as Americans: they think that there is no need to learn any other language than theirs own.
Please, AlienBob accept my apologies, you are doing great work, I am stupid ass and quick-(ill)-tempered person, I first kick then think, about KDE4-5 being crap - clearly it is my private opinion and in modest language I could say it is not well-designed desktop, and I can argue that. So yet again, I'm really sorry. I hope you will accept my apologies. My best wishes, Piotr.
These are my first attempts to translate the OP posts.

2017.01.21 - UPDATE
Reads as
- added kpowersave + hal, for kpowersave to work - hal have to be running, ie /etc/rc.d/rc.hal needs to be executable
- hal-dependent packages are collected together in directory "4.hal", by default this is not installed by "tde_all_install.sh", if needed - installation is done by executing "4.hal.sh"
- there is native replacement for kpowersave - tdepowersave (does not require HAL), so there is no need to install HAL-packages

setup to void system - order of installation and setup on "void" machine

It may have not been the most polite method, but the forum rules do state that all posts should be in English. Rules are rules. There are many international members who do not use English as their primary language, yet they still post in English. Alien Bob is from the Netherlands, and he uses English just like everyone else.
But I'm glad that this project has somebody behind it. Hopefully there can be some translations so more people will be able to use it.
Alien Bob is from the Netherlands, and he uses English just like everyone else.
For my knowledge Alien Bob is professional. In his job English is a must. I think that question of language has roots in the history of this forum. Maybe it is time to move on and start to think about posts in other languages. Why not? Rules are rules, but they are not something which cannot be changed.

Well, this is something you'd have to take up with the forum administration. It is not a Slackware forum. It is a forum whose administration allows Slackware to have a subforum for users to provide other users support.
But even if it was the Slackware forum, keep in mind that Slackware itself does not much extra to have i18n or l10n support beyond what programs already provide (the Slackware installer and utilities all lack support for non-English languages).

This is a Linux Questions web site with a rule that its discussions are in the english language. If you want to discuss things in another language (russian, ukranian, polish, portuguese, etc) then I am sure there are other places for that. Ask for a sub-forum here on LQ, dedicated to a specific language, if you want. But I will not use google translate to try and grasp the meaning of someone who is not willing (or able) to communicate in this forum's language. Language is a real, existing barrier. Google translate is nothing more and nothing less than replacing that barrier with a swamp. It is not going to help anyone.
People willing to cooperate trying to remove barriers and obstacles. Your attitude is simple xenophobic. I my joke that if the Western World won't start to learn Russian then it will be defeated in the next coming war. There is great misunderstanding what actually Russia is or what is not. Maybe if you will have such knowledge possible you will be more willing to cooperate with OP. It is always good to learn something new.

in system are incorporated/replaced libraries (patched with) "cleare-patch"
- cairo-1.14.6-x86_64-sl14.2_TDE_cleartype
- libXft-2.3.1-x86_64-sl14.2_TDE_cleartype
- freetype-2.6.3-x86_64-sl14.2_TDE_ft2_render_hint
I hope, that you will like "new regular and beautiful" fonts, with correct antialiasing
Multilib from Alien (not used in vbox, but in future, on real computer
will be useful
At this there is multlib-verision of changed system libraries, 64
system - is complete, but x32 applications, will have worse look
(due to lack of clear-font patch)

- TDE-14.0.1 x32
Compaq NX6100 / Core2 Duo Processor / Slackware-14.1x32
on desktop/workstation system was not tested, but previous similar packaging TDE
worked fine (almost high rocket fly) on "live laptop" # I am not sure about this live laptop, it can as well idiom

# is rather sarcastic, "stil alive"
works quite fine (smart), comparing to modern notebook on base of Intel i5 and Windows 7 # neither i5 nor w7 are quite modern

add/fonts/user_set.tar.xz
if not needed, remove from folder "2.tde_core" (remove into "off" folder),
by default is with other packages, as is done "system installation"
in start/debug
both packages contain the same fonts families, former - is local, latter global
what to install - choice is yours (I prefer local setting)
add/fonts/user_set.tar.xz
- folder with local fonts/gtk (/.gtkrc*, .Xresource), discard in home folder

I will continue ..or ..you are completely bored..Then I won't
I just realized translation is not very good, if I would have chance to do install myself, then it will be more clear for me. I regret, but I don't have installed 64 bit version of Slackware.
