System hang

Hi people!
I have problem with my Slackware 13.1.
When I run system under log in is "user" after 5 minutes system is hung! I can't move mouse and use keyboard! I didn't have this problem when I run system under log in is root. How I can decide this problem ? Any ideas ?

You are not providing enough information for someone to make an
intelligent reply. Not to be rude, but this article would be
helpful in teaching you how to make a good post.

Try creating a new user with "adduser <username>" as root, then
login as the new user to see if you have the same problem.

Next time, open a second virtual terminal as root, when user "user" hangs, check with top which program crashes the system. If this doesn't work, if you have another pc on lan you can start sshd and monitor the system from a remote shell.

start openssh server on your system and connect to it from an another machine before system hangs.

I believe that X hangs and not the whole system.

Remove your present KDE settings with these commands:
Code:
rm -rf /home/<username>/.kde/
rm /home/<username>/.kderc
where <username> is your user name.
