I get certain error messages in the syslog that I would like to fix. They are the following

(using a gf4 ti 4200 btw)

bump.. No one has a clue what it could be?

what's your Motherboard?
look like your chipset isn't supported yet but it's really weird... are you running Slackware 9.0?

alias sound-slot-1 driver_you_sound_card

My motherboard is an Asus A7v8x with onboard sound/lan (although sound is not used)

alias sound-slot-1 off
alias sound-service-1-0 off
