syslog enlarged up to 1.6G !

Now I,m running 12.2 ver. During playing dvd my syslog file becomes 1.6G ! Every second kernel reports reading error.

When I used 12.0 it never happened (hardware configuration the same).

What's the actual error message? What are your syslog.conf contents (as in 'grep -v ^# /etc/syslog.conf')?

I've only asked two very, very simple questions.
You managed to answer one.
No need to think or interprete.
Just post the exact error message.
