swaret arts n alsa upgrade

hi i have upgraded my arts and alsa in swaret from 9.1 too current and now im getting this message when i try and get sound going:

Error while initializing the sound driver:
device: default can't be opened for playback (No such device)
The sound server will continue, using the null output device.

please help this foolish tinkerer

Sorted it out by restoring 9.1 lsa narts pkgs

You may have been able to fix it by re-running alsaconf after you upgraded those packages

You can fix it easily by doing cd /var/swaret and using installpkg to install the ALSA packages. (All three).

Edit: Forgot to mention after you install the ALSA packages; run alsamixer as a normal user then, as root, run alsactl store. Reboot.
