Linuxpackages.net has their own swaret repository and I was wondering if anyone has got it working. Please see http://www.linuxpackages.net/mirrors.php (look torwards the bottom). For example, I tried installing amule 2.0 and it took a long time for swaret to search for dependencies. It did calculate the dependencies, but when it came to download and install them it said "failed" for each of them even though all the packages are on linuxpackages.

I also tried using slapt-get but it doesn't seem as good. I just want an easy way to install 3rd party apps not included in slack such as amule, mplayer etc.

Can someone help?

edit the /etc/swaret.conf file. Change the version to current

Uncomment the line for linuxpackages.net.
