Suspend / Hibernate with encrypted root and sapfile

Hi @all,

is it possible to use a encrypted root partition with a swapfile and do suspend/hibernate?
At the moment i think yes, only replace the resume=/dev/system/swap with the root device.

Anyone use this?

regards fl0

Have you checked out the README_CRYPT.TXT? There is a section titled "Hibernation (suspend-to-disk)" towards the bottem.

I tried it on my laptop and I could not get it to boot with the Hibernation file. It would boot as a normal boot and complain about the disk not being shut down correctly.
