trying to mount them?, you don't mount audio cd's. just open a player app and play them. or if they play with no sound, check the mixer settings, see if anything is muted, or you may have to connect the cable between the drive and the motherboard,

Audio CD's don't have a filesystem so they can't be mounted but you can run your favorite player and listen to them.

still can't get it to work
i have sound working
but when i use the cd player and click play nothing happens
btw is a mp3 disc will it read it??

For mp3 disc, mount it (mount /mnt/cdrom) then try xmms to do a playlist with
the /mnt/cdrom content or just browse /mnt/cdrom and play what you want
