How would one go about enabling xv on their system (it has worked before, but this time around, on a new install, it just doesn't)?

Thanks

Hi Chris

I'll try that.
The console tells me xv is availabe, but if I do a command line using xv I get a message telling me my system does not support it - I have a TNT2 video card. The gui tells me that only x11 and sdl are available, and they are the only ones that work. How do I get xv to work?

Cheers

Johng

Oops that was a silly question!

xvinfo
X-Video Extension version 2.2
screen #0
no adaptors present

The other problem I have is the image is too narrow - the width needs to be sretched about 50%.
