Strange problem with Kmail and NFS

When using Kmail from my laptop via my wireless network, occassionaly messages are 'dissappearing'
What I mean by that is, when I have retrieved my mail from my ISPs servers, they show up withing the recieved mail pane in Kmail. But when I click on them to read, they dissappear, and in the message pane they simply show the following:

Subject= no subject, Sender= unknown and date= unknown.

Wierd thing is, if I then go to main PC and look then they show up fine.

There does not seem to be any pattern to this behaviour, as sometimes it doesn't happen at all for days, then all of a sudden it will happen.

Anyone else come across this, and if so, did you manage to cure it.

TIA

Ok, heres the update and fix.
It seems that because my UID on my main PC is 501, and on my laptop is 1000, then some conflict arises when trying to view mail retrieved from one box, then read from the other.
The answer, to create a group called mail and add bot boxes as members of that group.
Problem solved.
