Step by step newbie guide for encrypted /home partition?

Ok, first off, thanks shilo for the great tut on compiling a kernel. I now am running kernel 2.6.9
Everything works, except, rxvt and xterm, not sure what thats about.
Anyhow, now that I have my nice new kernel, how to do I make my /home encrypted? I have /home on its own partition.
If anyone knows about the rxvt, xterm issue that would be great too.

The xterm issue may be due to not including pty support in the kernel. I believe there's some info about it in the 2.6.9 feedback thread somewhere on this forum.
